I Just Got Rejected From

I was reading College Confidential, comprised of mainly high school kids, and saw a running theme of “I did all of these activities and didnt get what I wanted.” I can empathize with that. But there is also an element of “my heart wasn’t in the effort, I just did these activities for admission. So since I didn’t get accepted to elite university, I wasted my time.” Continue reading

Time puts rejection letters in perspective, says Ted Turner. He received dual rejections as a teenager, by Princeton and Harvard, he says in an interview. The future America’s Cup winner attended Brown University, where he became captain of the sailing team.
