Interviewing Andrew Warner of Mixergy.com

The Andrew Warner Interview is here!

This is when my entrepreneurial geeky side comes out.  I follow Andrew’s site (blog sounds too simple), Mixergy.com because it is amazingly informative.  He interviews some of the most relevant and successful entrepreneurs, some of which include Vahid Razavi and Gary Vaynerchuk.

Here I interview the well known interviewer.

But the caveat is that Andrew is often more successful than those he interviews.  In his twenties he and his brother built a 38 million dollar greeting card business funded by credit cards. Not Trust fund. Credit cards.

Andrew Warner, Super Cool Entrepreneur

He does it all by video and makes it available for all to see.  For free.  I consider each video a masterclass in business. The realities of business. The ups. The downs. In detail.

From the Mixergy.com website

“Mixergy is a place where successful people teach ambitious upstarts.

The people who speak on this web site or at live Mixergy events are businesspeople who take some time out of their schedules to help teach others what they learned from their own experiences. They are people like Jimmy Wales who taught us how he got the world to help him make Wikipedia into a world-changing site. And people like Gregg Spiridellis who told us how it felt to watch his company, JibJab, get reduced to almost nothing, and taught us how he turned his business around.”

Following Andrew’s example, I interviewed him for HowIchangedcareers.com, by video (he told me how to record it). In a separate post, I will give details on how you can create your own video like the one below. . . and how to keep your whole face in frame :) .

Thanks Andrew for the great interview and viral inspiration.

I loved the way Andrew and Ivan’s interviews both talked about not being “perfect”–more just using the Nike principle and JUST DO IT! Get it out there and worry about the details later!
