One Response to From Journalist to Novelist

  1. Lisa Tener says:

Yes, it’s amazing how our training as writers can get in the way of connecting with our readers when we turn to writing fiction. I write adult nonfiction and mostly help people write their book proposals and edit their nonfiction books. Turning back to a children’s novel I’m working on is always daunting…and I feel so unequipped for the task sometimes. Thanks for the reminder about Natalie Goldberg. I have both books and will dig in today.
