I was watching Suze Orman on Oprah today. She was reviewing case studies of people in the audience. She also talked about numerous benefits available NOW from the economic stimulus plan.
Many of the issues are those that affect my neighbor (who I have been trying to give a bit of advice to) but I am not practicing law and my expertise in real estate was privacy rather than this crazy screwy economy knowoneknowswhattodo lare that I think the legal profession is learnign how to manage.
It could be a lucrative area…but a big headache.
Back to my neighbor…
She is in a situation where she might lose her home and having problems with a standard loan modification. She spends as much time fighting off companies trying to sell her a $6,000 modification services that don’t really target waht she needs.
Suze, gave the resource makinghomeaffordable.gov. This is a website from the federal gov that is part of the new stimulus package. I checked it out and found good info that can help my neighbor. There was alot more info (on unemployment and related matters) that is pretty valuable.
